World History 9–12 provides an in-depth study of the history of human society from Era 6: Emergence of the First Global Age (1450–1770) through Era 9: Twentieth Century Since 1945. The course helps students understand the human condition, increasing global interconnectedness, and how people view events and issues from different perspectives. It develops an understanding of the historical roots of current world issues, especially those related to international and global relations. Students study world cultures and civilizations, including important ideas, social and cultural values, beliefs, and traditions.
