HONORS MATHEMATICS GRADE 7

Course Number: 377330

Honors Math Standards is an accelerated mathematics course that prepares students for Algebra I through an in-depth study of rational numbers, proportional relationships, algebraic reasoning, geometry, statistics, and probability. Students develop fluency with rational numbers, rates, ratios, percent, functions, linear equations, inequalities, systems of equations, and geometric concepts including area, volume, surface area, scale factor, angle relationships, and cross sections of three-dimensional figures. Through problem solving, mathematical modeling, and real-world applications, students strengthen critical thinking and build the conceptual understanding and procedural fluency needed for success in higher-level mathematics.
