This course will introduce students to concepts and careers within the field of Advanced Manufacturing. Students will learn about the various skills needed to obtain an industry and trade job and will be better prepared for pursuing their own career in the future. The course discusses Personal Effectiveness Skills, Academic Skills, Workplace Skills, and Industry-Wide Technical Skills needed within the field of Manufacturing. After students have completed this course, they should have a better idea of possible career opportunities that are open to them in Career and Technical Education as well as the base knowledge needed to pursue those careers.
