SPORTS MEDICINE INJURY ASSESSMENT

Working in a sports medicine team setting is a career field that can open up a wide variety of challenges. This class is built to help students who want to learn more about the common injuries and assessments are seen by senior sports medicine team members at their respective schools. In this class, we aim to educate students about the common anatomy and physiology of the body, special tests allied-healthcare professionals may use to determine the integrity of these anatomical structures, and some widely used rehabilitation exercises and principles used to help student-athletes in their quest to return to their respective sport from injury.
