The Virtual Arkansas Design & Development team serves learners across the state and beyond by creating, curating, and maintaining high-quality digital learning content. In addition to our work with content, we offer internal and external training services for best practices related to the creation and use of digital learning content.
We are able to serve the specific needs of Arkansas and engage Arkansas experts in our content building process. Our award winning team of experienced course design professionals has helped build capacity and experience among Arkansas educators, as well as represented the field in national, regional, and local conferences.

- Any licensed Arkansas educator can sign up and learn best practices for building an online/blended course from start to finish. This online course is offered twice per year. Individuals who complete the course may be added to our pool of subject matter experts and developers to potentially call on for paid project opportunities.
- Tailored professional development experiences for digital course design and development.
- Quality Matters rubric training to become an online course peer-reviewer.
- Instructional media creation (videos, podcasts, graphic design).
