Education Technology is a project-based course that introduces students to the role of technology in the classroom. Students will explore various technologies being used as digital learning tools in multiple modes of learning including online, face-to-face, and hybrid classroom environments. This course will expose students to the skills and strategies needed to integrate technology into the classroom, develop methods of digital communication and collaboration, support practices for digital citizenship, and reflect on their own performance in a digital environment. Students are expected to gain field experience by completing classroom observations, both online and face-to-face, with a licensed Arkansas teacher and to complete an initial Google certification to become a Google Certified Educator.
