This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the fields of information and communication, construction, manufacturing, energy, power, and transportation technologies. Students will also develop an understanding of the history of technology and how the design loop is used to solve technological problems. Emphasis will be placed on the exploration of principles and concepts as well as the application of technological concepts and practices through the completion of experiments, learning exercises, field trips, writing activities, and design projects.
