7th and 8th grade Visual Art is a nine weeks course in which students learn ways to develop artistic ideas and create art in a variety of media. Students learn how to select work for presentation and work with others to best display their work. Students will observe, analyze, and evaluate works of art, as well as interpret its intent and meaning. Making connections to the “real world” with their art deepens their understanding.
